Moving to France as a British citizen

No visa is needed for visits up to 90 days. But studying, working, retiring or joining family in France requires a long-stay visa (VLS-TS), and consulates refuse incomplete files without a second chance. Our France-based team builds yours properly.

When do British citizens need a visa for France?

For any stay beyond 90 days, or any stay with a purpose beyond visiting: work, study, family settlement, retirement. The 90-day visa-free rule covers tourism and short business trips only.

Which long-stay visa fits my case?

It depends on your project: salaried work, student, visitor with own income, entrepreneur, talent passport, family of a French resident. Our guidance settles this first, in writing.

What is the VLS-TS?

A long-stay visa that works as your residence permit for the first year in France. It must be validated online within 3 months of arrival — instructions are included in your plan.
